I happen to have some Husqvarna .080in trimmer string, (which is the size listed on the trimmer) but it doesn't have the twist in it the way the original string on my Kobalt does (as does the string you are using here). Does it matter? Can I use what I have?

Bolt was stuck. I had to use we 40 & a conduit attached to a wrench and hit about 2ft away to get the bolt to remove.

do you know how to make an adjustment to the reverse gear? my 30" craftsman won't go in reverse when i engage it. should be an adjustment and not tranny problem since it's only had about 2 hours of use. thanks.

My problem started when I removed the spool. Somehow the bump knob also came off with it, so I snapped it back on. However, I didn’t realize the spring had also come off. So now the bump knob is installed without the spring, and I am unable to remove it no matter how hard I twist it (as shown in the video). Any ideas?

Had a piece of the orange line that broke off inside. This video was helpful in removing the line and putting the unit back together. The lesson here was don’t buy cheap Chinese after market string instead of the mfgr’s brand.

My mower looks identical but it's probably a 2015 Troy Built. Lowes used to carry it but now they say Craftsman . Mine is a TB30r. I think the R is for models that can mow in reverse. Just a button you have to press. My question is my Briggs & Stratton is 10.5 hp, does the Craftsman still have the same engine? It also says PowerBuilt. A quart didn't quite fill mine so im thinking mabye you engine is smaller or different. It looks identical, same drain plug, dipstick, everything. Thanks in advance. There are no video's changing oil with my model.

This product got my attention on "biceps" because i struggle with my left bicep (working out) because i actually have Connective Tissue Disease. I'm actually willing to try it. I can't tell you how frustrated winding the string has become to the point I'm almost willing to pay somebody to do the yard. It turns out doing it manually it's just the best way and the least stressful. Thank you so much for a detailed video and it's all about the loop.

This is just what I needed! Same issue and this worked. Another tip, if you don't have vice grips (I had a pair but weren't the right size) use a small c-clamp to block the hose and it will hold the fuel back.
